I asked my beloved angel, “How is it you always insist we create our lives? I can’t see how I am doing anything but responding to all these people around me. Whatever do you mean when you insist I create my life?”
He answered, “Words matter. Each word you speak is like a magic spell. We act like we can say anything, like words float in the air and are immaterial. Yet think about a conversation from your childhood, when someone hurt you. Those words are burned into your brain, aren’t they?
I want you to think about what you say about yourself. Do you describe your day as difficult? Impossible? Frustrating? Then it will be again. You just created it.
When we move forward there are so many choices all around us! The wise see every choice before them, and walk forward aware and caring for every detail. Each word supports or denies the experience they are having. And by supporting it you create more of it for yourself, and by denying it, or seeing the part you wish to see, you create more of what you preferred out of the frustrating experience.
Together the choices multiply. Your decisions and acts plus those around you create a synergetic experience. Their attitude plus yours, their words, your words, each builds upon the other. This is creation, teamwork, at its height. Together we can create far more than ever before.
It is an act of will power to shed this tendency to complain. While it makes good television stories, who wants to live even a moment like a TV drama? These are destructive! Fantasy is for creation of a better future, when used properly. Anything else is a waste of time. Why spend even a half hour in front of the television? That time could be better spent in reflection than absorbing someone else’s daydream stories.
When we put brick upon brick, we find ourselves building our own temple of our life. Words are the tools to engineer your life. We think they are here to communicate with each other, and they are.
Did you know everyone is listening? God is listening! The universe listens and cares about you and your words. How can it not? Your words go out and create an imprint on everything. The energy from your words colors your day and the objects around you.
Ever notice the car that has broken down breaks down again more easily when the driver offers a tirade of abuse and complaints to their vehicle?
So please, build something beautiful! If each word is a brick, and each sentence brick upon brick, lay for yourself a foundation for a beautiful day! Start first thing, in the morning, look at yourself and say brightly, “I will have an amazing day today! I will accomplish all my challenges! I will meet wonderful people! I love life!”
I ask you, try it! See how different you day is after that! You may find you’ve had in your power the ability to change and direct your life, all along.”
