A client asked me to ask the angels for information about the future of our nation. She wanted to know where we are headed, what we need to be aware of. The angel I asked spent two days writing and then asked me to transcribe his document. These are his words. I think they are a brilliant and amazing vision of what we could be, where we could go, and who we each can become!
"Cleo, our planet is in dire peril. And we extend ourselves daily to rescue it. However all our efforts are for naught if the planet does not discover it’s way and follow a whole new path!
I see much pain for our people, because they refuse to set down the struggle of competition. They seek always to help themselves and not to uplift others. It is a broken society that has no space for the weak and weary, the disenfranchised and broken. Every person is valuable and requires kindness to find their potential. We can offer huge joy to ourselves and to others when we uplift each other!
How would you feel if our planet embraced a path of such joy that the homeless were loved and cared for? Not by a government but by individuals who noticed them and offered them support. How bright would every day be to live in such a place? Where acquisition of wealth were no longer a purpose, but a flaw? How can the resources which are enough to heal a whole group of people assigned to only one person, one family, how is this beneficial to anyone?
We see much wrong with our planet- so many painful stories which could be erased with the touch of love. Why hold back when there is joy everywhere to be discovered? Creating contact instead of isolating? Creating joy instead of creating comfort? Comfort is small and easily lost. It needs protection always. Connection supports everyone and embraces a whole paradigm shift. There is so much joy in the smile of a child, how can we find a rejection of assistance to any child, anywhere, for any reason? Yet our people put on reservations their indigenous peoples, as if they are of lower class. They isolate the elderly, as if they are an inconvenience. It is so painful to see all the ways our people hurt themselves looking for comfort, always comfort and peace in a louder cry for help from every part of our planet! Now our landscape itself burns and weeps and is destroyed, and still the nations of our planet fight for dominance instead of recognizing the dominance of the earth itself. There is no path forward without the dissolution of these warring states, all vying for dominance in a broken landscape.
I ask our people to see this. We can achieve it, truly. It is possible, all that I speak of. It is possible to set down these childish ways and find such joy in connection, you would be shocked at your precious selves. How might our people find joy here? How might our people give up this petty sadness and addiction to media? And rediscover each other? Wanting drama? Go help someone in the street- I guarantee their stories will enliven your day with more outrageous and impossible circumstances than any T V show or movie drama story.
I see a bright and shining people underneath this pile of accumulated things! Under this sad pile of stuff, as you call it! There are people right beside you who need your attention daily! When will we give it instead of keeping our souls in an eternal night, locked away from each other? How many souls could we change with a smile and a conversation just today? I implore you to reach out and discover a new path for yourself and everyone around you. It is here, it awaits you!"
